File a complaint.

This goes to the people who run this site. Not to the internet, and not onto anybody’s page.

What happens after you send it

  1. A person reads it. One of the admins here — never the business, and never anyone else.
  2. We work out whether the promise covers it. Three questions, asked the same way every time. What we decided gets written down. The questions are here.
  3. We talk to the owner and hear their side. Always, before anything else happens. Often that is the end of it — they didn’t know, and they fix it.
  4. If it can’t be sorted out, we take them off the list. Quietly. We don’t announce it, and we don’t say why.

What this is not

It isn’t a review site and it isn’t a way to shame anyone. Complaints are never published, never counted up in public, and never shown on a listing. There is nothing negative about being on this list — the worst that happens to a business is that it quietly isn’t on it any more.

You don’t have to tell us who you are. The form doesn’t ask, and nothing you write here is ever repeated back to the business with your name on it.

One thing worth knowing before you write: the promise is about being treated worse than the next person because of who you are. It isn’t about what a shop has or doesn’t have. More on that.
